Behnam Danai has been working in the power industry for over 25 years. Behnam worked for Ontario Hydro Power System Planning department for ten years. In 1997, Behnam joined ABB where he had various technical and management responsibilities in the delivery of the CAISO, NYISO, and IESO wholesale energy markets. Since 2007, Behnam has been working for Open Access Technology International where he has been responsible for the delivery of the projects and consulting services in energy trading group and smart grid. Behnam’s technical expertise include wholesale market design, energy trading and scheduling, variable generation scheduling, and DR/DER resource scheduling.
