Jonathan was recruited as the Director of Finance for the newly formed Medical Management Division of AIG Claims in 2005. His responsibilities have grown from financial oversight of the new division to Head of Medical Management within AIG. Has been integrally involved in all significant medical management endeavors at AIG, including medical bill processing, network and other cost savings opportunities, and also leads AIG’s ancillary services company, directDME. As a leader in the organization for process improvement, he identified and drove system integration and automation projects before they were industry standard, as well as spearheading early adoption and implementation of new protocols to help control cost drivers such as opioids and medical implants.
