Brian Cruickshank is the director of Northwood University’s University of the Aftermarket where he manages aftermarket-specific continuing and executive education programs. Prior to joining the university, Brian spent 15 years at Babcox Media where he covered the motor vehicle aftermarket for a variety of national publications.
Brian is very active in the industry, serving on committees within the Auto Care Association and the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association. He serves on number of industry committees and boards. The industry has honored Brian with the AIA Young Executive of the Year Award, the AWDA Pursuit of Excellence Award and the Mort Schwartz Award. He earned his Automotive Aftermarket Professional designation from the University of the Aftermarket in 2004 and his Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional designation in 2010.
Brian previously served in the United States Marine Corps. He earned undergraduate degrees from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Northwood University’s DeVos Graduate School of Management.
