Thomas Palangio




Thomas Palangio is the Technical Officer at WipWare Incorporated, who for the last 18 years, has developed machine vision solutions for the explosives, mining and mineral processing industries. Thomas believes that every continuous improvement effort is made possible with a safe and reliable quantification method. Their motto is “Because you can’t manage what you can’t measure!” and they pride themselves on creating the most representative bulk material characterization technologies available. Thomas has studied mining at Haileybury School of Mines and Michigan Technological University; has worked for the Canadian Armed Forces, Falconbridge, Barrick Gold, Sabin Metals Corporation; and has produced custom applications for NASA, GE, DOT, Halliburton, Weyerhaeuser, Thyssen Krupp and others. Currently, Thomas has been focused on developing new IOT devices and UAV applications.
