In his role at MNAO, Matthew Valbuena is responsible for the evolution and development of Mazda’s MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment system as well as display content and function for the Mazda product lineup.
In his two years at MNAO, Valbuena has worked with the engineers at Mazda Motor Corporation in Japan to develop an intuitive infotainment user interface that minimizes driver distraction. He also establishes competitive benchmarking on infotainment, connectivity, convenience and safety features that guide future systems development.
Valbuena completed a certificate program in Human Factors Engineering at the University of Michigan in addition to Industrial Design courses from California State University, Long Beach.
