Paul Gowens has over 28 years of experience within the Scottish Ambulance Service and has fulfilled a number of key roles from paramedic through to his current strategic role as Programme Director Clinical Service Transformation with a wide portfolio including, out of hospital cardiac arrest and major trauma systems. He has also had a number of external leadership roles, as Vice-Chair the College of Paramedics (UK) and sitting on the Allied Health Professionals Federation Scotland Board He is also a director for British Association of Immediate Medical Care Schemes (Scotland) and a member of the Scottish Trauma Audit Group.
