Mindy Bianca owns and operates Mindy Bianca Public Relations (mbpr!), a boutique PR agency that serves clients in the travel and tourism industry. This includes destinations, hotels and resorts as well as theme parks, zoos, aquariums and other attractions. Mindy brings more than 20 years of experience in this specialized field of PR. Prior to opening MBPR earlier this year, Mindy worked for the agency that handled IAAPA’s annual “What’s New” springtime PR campaign (from 2013 through 2016). In that job she also partnered with Dollywood’s in-house PR team to generate PR activity around the opening of their DreamMore Resort last year. Mindy served as the PR Director for Hershey Entertainment & Resorts in Hershey, PA, which operates IAAPA member Hersheypark, from 2005 through 2012. She holds dual degrees in print journalism and broadcast communications and began her career as a journalist, a background that helps her see potential stories through a reporter’s eyes.
