Mitchell Luehring has been a leader in Gensler’s area analysis practice for over 10 years. He advises clients and colleagues alike on the value and insights that building area measurements and standards can bring to their projects. From a multi-million square foot mixed-use development to a retail suite of less than 1,000 square feet, Mitch has worked through the complexities and nuances of countless building measurement scenarios. He believes all parties benefit from accurately applied standards and area measurement results. Whether working with designers or developers, buyers or sellers, landlords or tenants, or any players in commercial real estate, Mitch employs his vast knowledge and experience to facilitate a transparent and clear understanding of their building area measurements. Currently, Mitch is a member the BOMA Floor Measurement Standards Committee and co-chair of the Office Standard Revision Task Force, advising on the interpretation of the current standards and the direction of future iterations of the BOMA standards.
