Mr. Belmonte received his B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Manahattan College in 1991 and 1996, respectively, and an MBA from JWMI in 2016. He is an EHS Professional with over 28 years of experience across multiple areas of highly-regulated industries, especially in power generation. Mr. Belmonte has permitted over 7000 MW of power generation projects in the state of Texas. Mr. Belmonte's strengths are in compliance related issues, critical flaw analysis, transactional due diligence of power assets, power plant expansion and simple/combined-cycle operations, Title V permit applications, PSD/NSR, BACT& MACT analyses and LAER evaluation, emission estimates, dispersion modeling, regulatory negotiations, dealing with stakeholders and performing engineering and permitting studies, and various other environmental issues related to the development of various types of power projects.
