A native of the deep south, JJ McKay currently lives in Seattle and spends part of his time in NYC. Having a rich history in consumer appetites, he has worked on programs with companies including Costco, butter London, the American Heart Association, and The Daily Beast. In 2016 McKay founded The Fresh Toast, a lifestyle/ entertainment platform with a side of cannabis. Already a digital leader in the industry, the Fresh Toast is the trusted voice for cannabis in North America with partners like the NY Daily News, Salon.com and The Seattle Times. McKay also serves on the advisory boards of US Bank and U Trip. JJ has served on the several non-profit boards in Seattle and the South including the current chairman of Mary’s Place, Seattle Opera, Pilchuck Glass School, Junior Miss (now Distinguished Young Women) and he chaired the 50th Anniversary for Seattle Center.
