Dr. Amy Wood has dedicated her professional career to helping chiropractors succeed in business. She practiced for over 14 years with both ups and downs in business, but no matter what comes her way her passion and growth mindset allows her career to flourish. In 2014, she obtained her Medical Compliance Specialist-Physician Certification. This certification was an intense week of learning and understanding of the medical profession both from the legal aspect to the treating of patients. Each year chiropractors have to maintain 24 hours of continued education to keep their certification. Dr. Wood is no exception; not only does she maintain her continuing education for her growth, but now she also provides education to other professionals in the medical community. Her knowledge of contracts and audit procedures helps her to streamline doctor’s practices into manageable, workable, and profitable offices. She looks at all aspects of compliance, documentation, and coding. She uses her knowledge and experience to make sure all doctors are well equipped with the tools and have the confidence they need to be successful. Dr. Wood has several programs for staff training and on-site training for any office. She works with Chiropractors and integrated (Blended) practices. In 2015 she was asked to Chair the Texas Chiropractic Association Insurance Committee. This was an honor to help the profession in this capacity. She continues to fight for Chiropractic and its inclusion and non-discrimination from insurance companies. Dr. Amy Wood’s passion for the health of others now is expanded as she trains and supports other doctors. She continues to leave her mark as she strives to strengthen the chiropractic community.
