Ms. Starnes has been a mechanical engineer in the wind industry since early 2012. She has a broad experience in wind ranging from in-depth data analysis to project operations to hands-on field work. In her current role, Ms. Starnes supports wind farm owners and operators in their efforts to achieve and maintain safe, reliable, and profitable projects through the evaluation of wind turbine performance and reliability, as well as the evaluation of overall project operations regarding operating strategy, operating costs, and project performance, according to industry best practices. Prior to joining DNV GL, Ms. Starnes worked as a mechanical engineer for three years for a wind farm Owner/Operator, where she led efforts to continuously improve operational and reliability performance for a large fleet with a variety of turbine technologies.
