Lucas is responsible for developing and coordinating safety and technical training for the EDP Renewables North America (EDPR NA) Operations Team. Prior to that, he was a Lead Technician for EDPR NA on their Vestas V90-3MW platform, and a Field Service Technician for GE. Lucas also helped create and develop the wind turbine technician training program at Cloud County Community College in Kansas. He has a bachelor's degree in Physics from Fort Hays State University and has been working in the wind industry since 2008.
