Andrea Pratt
Green Fleet & Fuel Program Manager
City of Seattle

Andrea Pratt is the green fleet program manager for the City of Seattle, working in the Fleet Management Division of the City since 2011. In 2014, she authored and published the City’s updated Green Fleet Action Plan and in 2015 managed a successful transition to biodiesel (B20) for over 1,000 fleet vehicles. She was a lead developer of Mayor Ed Murray’s Drive Clean Seattle initiative which calls for a 50% reduction in fleet emissions by 2025. To that end, Pratt is expanding alternative fuel use including biodiesel and renewable diesel blends, deploying green technology fleet-wide and electrifying light-duty vehicles. As part of this effort, she manages electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure expansion for the city, aiming to install over 400 charging stations at dozens of fleet locations over the next four years. Beyond infrastructure, technology deployment, and alt fuel expansion, she also spearheads green fleet policy and procurement efforts on a regional, state, and national level. Prior to working in local government, Pratt worked in the private sector as an environmental chemist and project manager for ten years and graduated with a BS in oceanography from the University of Washington in Seattle.
