Jean Mary Bongiorno is an Assistant Director in the Special Programming and Events Department at the Museum of Modern Art. Having worked at MoMA for over 14 years, Jean Mary has created and implemented revenue-generating programs for audiences of all ages and abilities. She manages a team of Museum employees and independent educators who engage visitors before, after, and during these programs. In her previous roles at the Guggenheim Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, and Sotheby's she focused on visitor services and the client experience. Jean Mary holds a master’s degree in Arts Administration from Columbia University and has received hospitality training from Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group. She is a native New Yorker.
