Peter Munzert received his Diploma in Polymer Technology from the University of Applied Science Würzburg, Germany. His PhD in Material Science he received in 2004 from the University Halle/Saale, Germany. Since 2004 he is working as a scientist in the Optical Coatings Department of the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering in Jena, Germany. His research interests include optical coatings design and simulation, PVD deposition techniques, coating characterisation and surface analytics.
