Alan Mahony Director of Operations Pinnacle International Enterprise limited Alan has extensive Asian waterpark experience with over 32 years of experience in waterpark design, development, and operations, with the past 22 years working and living within Asia. Alan began his career with the Warner Village Theme Park Group as a core member of the group’s operations team before bringing his experience and expertise to Asia. He initially worked on some of Asia’s initial waterparks during the mid-1990s then during the 2000s Alan was strongly involved with the fast progression of the growth of the waterpark industry in Asia, taking on General Management roles during the Sunway Lagoon, Malaysia redevelopment, then during the development and operations of Chimelong Water Park, Guangzhou, China and Beijing Watercube Waterpark, Beijing, China, the home of the 2008 Summer Olympics. Alan returned to China and in 2016 became the Director of Operations for Pinnacle International Enterprise Limited and is currently the Vice President Aquaventure Waterpark for the newly opened Atlantis Sanya. Alan is highly respected within the waterpark industry, especially for his understanding, knowledge of and experience within the Asian and particularly the Chinese market. Alan was previously a board member of the WWA and currently sits on the IAAPA Asian M&S subcommittee.
