Monica Manske, is an over 20 year HR and Risk Management industry professional. She is currently the Sr. Manager of Workers’ Compensation, Employee Safety and Ergonomics at Rochester Regional Health. She graduated with her MSM from Nazareth College of Rochester, and spent ten years in the insurance industry before transitioning into the healthcare setting. Through her operational leadership she has had oversight of workers’ compensation, employee leave and benefit programs, and finally ergonomics and employee safety. She is on the Board of Managers for New York Self Insurance Association; the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce Workers’ Compensation Advocacy Committee; and the Board of Directors for the Genesee Valley Chapter at SHRM. Most recently through her work, Rochester Regional Health and her team have been recognized for achievement within the workers’ compensation and safety industry. Rochester Regional Health has been named a 2017 Award Winner for the Risk & Insurance Magazine Teddy award. Additionally this year Rochester Regional Health’s workers’ compensation and injury prevention team were presented with the Award of Excellence in Safe Patient Handling by the NYS Dept of Labor and NYS Zero Lift Task Force.
