Dr. Seung-Ki Chae is a professor at Research & Business Foundation in SungKyunKwan University in Korea. He began his new career at the SKK University from 2016 after the retirement of Samsung Display Company, where he worked as Senior Vice President responsible for the Manufacturing Technology Team, including Micro-contamination Control, Material Quality, and Analytical Technology Groups. Prior to Samsung Display, he worked at the Samsung Semiconductor as Vice President until 2010 responsible for the Manufacturing Technology Team, including Material Technology, Analytical Technology, and Micro-contamination Control Groups. He began working at the Samsung Semiconductor Memory Division from 1993 as a Senior Manager responsible for the different technology groups, such as Analytical Technology, Defect Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Facility Engineering, Cleanroom Technology and Metrology for Memory Device Fab. Dr. Chae received his Ph.D. in 1991 Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, in U.S. and continued to work as a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the Particle Technology Lab for the Micro-contamination Research Consortium. He receives his MS. in 1984 and BS in 1982, all in Mechanical Engineering from the Seoul National University in Korea.
