Senior Engineer
SK hynix
Seung Heon Baek has been with SK hynix since 2017, where he is currently a Senior Engineer. His research interest include developing perpendicular STT-MRAM for high density memory applications. Baek received his B.S degree, M.S degree and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from KAIST, Daejeon, Korea, in 2011, 2013, 2017, respectively. His study include spin injection and transport in semiconducting materials and fundamental study of new spin torque switching mechanisms, such as spin-orbit torque (SOT) and voltage-controlled magnetic anisotropy (VCMA). He has been nominated as a group member of ‘Outstanding Young Scientist’ at Inter-Academy Seoul Science Forum (IASSF) hosted by The Korean Academy of Science and Technology (KAST).
