Min Hyuk Park, Ph.D. has been an assistant professor at Pusan National University since 2018. Prior to joining Pusan National University, Prof. Park was a postdoctoral researcher at Nanoelectronic Materials Laboratory gGmbH (NaMLab) which is owned by Technical University of Dresden (TU Dresden). NaMLab is a pioneer research group of ferroelectric Hafnia thin films, and published the first paper on this topic in 2011. During his 3 years at NaMLab, he got Humboldt postdoctoral fellowship from Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and Dresden Junior Fellowship from TU Dresden. He also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Seoul National University for two years before joining NaMLab. He received a BS and integrate MS/PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering field from Seoul National University, Seoul, Republic of Korea in 2008 and 2014, respectively. He authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in journals including Nature Materials, Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Nano Letters, and Nano Energy and 1 book chapter, and his publications were cited more than 1,200 times. Especially, he authored the most papers on ferroelectric Hafnia based thin films as a first author, and he is one of the young leading scientists in the field. With the aforementioned achievements, he got 8 awards including two SK-Hynix awards and Doyeon award.
