Peter is the Associate Manager of the Sustainability and Circular Economy Program at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Corporate Citizenship Center (CCC). He manages Beyond 34: Recycling and Recovery for a New Economy, a first-of-its-kind, multi-stakeholder initiative focused on improving the current 34% recycling rate in the US by providing a scalable model for improving recycling and recovery rates. Peter oversees the implementation of Beyond 34 in the project’s target regions and helps develop strategies to scale the model across the country. Beyond 34 is a project of the USCCF’s Corporate Citizenship Center, which acts as a leading resource for businesses dedicated to making a difference by providing impactful programming, research, events and communications. Peter is a Washington, D.C. area native and holds a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, Economics and Law from the University of Richmond. He came to the CCC from Generation180, a nonprofit committed to helping consumers embrace their role in the clean energy transition.
