Dr. Tae-Kyu Lee is an associate professor in Portland State University since 2015 in the research area of micro-electronics reliability and metal additive manufacturing. Before joining the Department of mechanical and materials engineering in PSU, he worked as a Senior Engineer in Cisco Component quality and technology (CQT) group, Packaging and Interconnect Technology Team located in San Jose, CA over ten years on Board reliability, Interconnect thermal and mechanical analysis and next generation component qualification. Dr. Lee received his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and engineering from University of California, Berkeley in 2005 and served as a post-doc in Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory before joining Cisco. He is currently the chair of TMS Electronic packaging and interconnect material committee (EPIM) and also serving as an associate editor in Journal of Electronic Materials.
