Alan Brightman holds the position of Senior Product Manager at Edwards Vacuum. Mr. Brightman has been at the company for 7 years and manages the global semiconductor dry pump business. Mr. Brightman’s career has encompassed the semiconductor, commercial and naval nuclear power generation, aerospace, and conventional naval propulsion fields. Within the semiconductor industry, he has worked for major subsystem suppliers and original equipment manufacturers. With extensive international travel experience, he has initiated strategic partnerships with leading Asia-headquartered companies. Mr. Brightman received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Massachusetts, USA. An inventor, Mr. Brightman holds several US and international patents. Mr. Brightman and his wife, Sonia, have recently relocated to the US, after residing in Seoul, Korea for 2 years.
