Hamidreza Asemani is currently a PhD candidate in Polymers and Coatings major at Eastern Michigan University. He has received his Masters and Bachelors degrees in Polymer Engineering from Tehran’s Polytechnic University, Iran. He has a diverse research experience including synthesis and characterization of different polymers and resins, formulation of high-performance coatings (UV-cured, thermal-cured and ambient curing coatings), development of corrosion resistant coatings and chromium-free surface pre-treatments and also synthesis of bio-based resins and adhesive formulation. He has been awarded “Doctoral Research Fellowship” and “Graduate Research Excellence Scholarship” for three consecutive years and has received “best research paper” awards from highly acknowledged conferences.
