Hilary Gans has worked in the recycling and composting industry for over 25 years for both public and private companies in Northern California. At his current position at RethinkWaste/South Bayside Waste Management Authority, Mr. Gans manages the contracts and facilities that transfer and recycle 500,000 tons per year of waste from the Agency’s half-million residence on the mid-peninsula between San Francisco and San Jose. Additional accomplishments include $50M facility master plan project and an anaerobic digestion pilot project starting in 2019.
