Mr. Hernandez is a Project Director in SCS’s Boca Raton office with 21 years of experience in the environmental field with a focus on solid waste management. His experience includes all aspects of project development, including planning, evaluation, contract negotiations, permitting, design, construction administration, and public outreach. His career commenced at the Solid Waste Authority of Puerto Rico working on the implementation of an Island wide integrated solid waste management system. In 2002, he transitioned to the private consulting industry where he has assisted some of the major public and private solid waste management entities such as SWA of Palm Beach County, Miami-Dade Department of Solid Waste Management, Waste Management and Republic Services with their solid waste management needs. Mr. Hernandez is also a Certified Landfill Operator in the State of Florida.
