Baba Uppal is the VP of Strategy and Business Development of two-time Emmy® Award-winning Secret Location, a content and technology studio for emerging platforms. With a background of management, strategy consulting and finance, Baba has gained expertise in start-ups and institutional media companies alike. Baba leads the overall strategy for the Vusr product in response to market demands and trends and has been crucial for identifying untapped opportunities within and surrounding VR applications, and for developing strategic and strong partnerships for Secret Location. In 2016, Secret Location was acquired by Entertainment One (eOne). Secret Location develops its own original technology IP, platforms as well as brand and content properties. The company has been recognized with hundreds of accolades for spearheading innovation in Virtual Reality media, becoming the first to win a Primetime Emmy® for a Virtual Reality project through its work with FOX.
