Patrick Carroll

Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach Co


Mr. Carroll has over 29 years of experience in the waste management industry to include facility design, construction and operations. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Maryland. In his current capacity as the Director of Facilities Development for the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County, Mr. Carroll is responsible for the implementation of the Authority's capital program. Over the past ten years the program has successfully executed over a billion dollars worth of work including a new recycling facility, new transfer stations, landfill cells and finally the design and construction the Authority's new 3000 TPD WTE facility. Mr. Carroll served as project manager for the new WTE facility which has been in successful operation since 2015. Mr. Carroll has authored dozens of papers and presentations on a wide variety of waste management topics at the local and national levels.
