Donna Sirak joined Erie Insurance's Human Resources Team in 2011 as the Senior Diversity & Inclusion Planning Analyst in the Diversity & Inclusion and Strategic Analytics Department. During her 17 years with the company, she has served in both individual contributor and management roles in Claims, Corporate Communications and Strategic Marketing before moving to HR. She had the privilege of starting ERIE’s market intelligence function shaping competitor and customer research efforts and was recognized with awards from the Strategic & Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) association for her work, including the Catalyst Award for advancement of the intelligence profession. As a member of the Diversity & Inclusion team, Donna consults on emerging market segments, demographics, product offerings, and marketing and community outreach, positioning Diversity and Inclusion as a business imperative that has bottom line impacts. She actively works with ERIE's Benefits Team, helping launch adoption assistance, fertility benefits, parental leave, and LGBT-inclusive benefits including sexual confirmation surgery. Donna is responsible for coordinating ERIE’s annual submission to the Human Right’s Campaign Corporate Equality Index Survey, for which ERIE has been recognized since 2016 with a perfect score, making the company a Best Place to Work for LGBT Employees. Donna earned her BA in Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh with minors in History and Sociology. She went on to earn her MBA at Penn State University and also is a certified Human Capital Strategist (HCS) and Diversity Executive (CDE). She is a certified BridgeBuilder, speaking regularly on how to address and resolve generational clashpoints and has done extensive research on the generations in the workplace, giving countless presentations on the topic. Donna is also a certified facilitator on the topics of Diversity Awareness and Dignity and Respect in the workplace.
