Kimberly Hauge is Director for Employee Wellness at Kent State University. Kent State University has more than 214,000 alumni worldwide, 42,000 students enrolled in an eight-campus system, and nearly 6,000 full and part-time faculty and staff. Kent State has been recognized by The Chronicle of Higher Education as a “Great College to Work For,” by the Wellness Council of America as a "Top 25 Most Active Employer,” and is the recipient of multiple awards by the American Heart Association, including the 2017 Workplace Health Achievement Award. Kim received her M.Ed from Kent State University and is currently working on her PhD in Public Health. She has worked at Kent State for the past 16 years in benefits administration, communication and project management, and employee wellness and health promotion. Kim is certified by the Society for Human Resource Management as a Professional in Human Resources and by the National Wellness Institute as a Certified Workplace Wellness Program Manager. Her current responsibilities are the strategic planning and management of a comprehensive university-wide health and wellness program for employees and their families.
