I have been practicing as a WOCN for 12 years and had the opportunity of introducing NPWT to my community hospital. More recently, in the last two years, we have now had the opportunity to utilize NPWTi-D on our patients, particularly those who had wounds with infection. Considerable benefits in using this advance technology have been recognized within our surgical team – including plastics, orthopaedics and general surgery.
