Melissa Adkins, Mississippi’s one and only Google for Education Certified Innovator, is now in her 24th year as an educator who has been providing just-in-time support and professional learning opportunities as a district-wide Instructional Technologist for the last 16 years. She nationally advocates for and promotes platforms that help students develop their C-skills in engaging and meaningful ways and those that help make learning visible. She is an ambassador for platforms that do that such as Flip, Wakelet, BreakoutEDU, and Book Creator. Melissa is at her best when she is meeting educators and students where they are and helping them progress in their educational technology journeys.
