LT Cameron “Java Facial” Caraway hails from Hereford, TX and enlisted in 2004 as an Aviation Electronics Technician. As part of the last Tomcat deployment he sun-downed the F-14D with Fighter Squadron VF-31 Tomcatters. In 2007, He was selected for Seaman to Admiral and graduated from the University of New Mexico and commissioned in 2010. After completion of flight training LT Caraway was attached to HSM-77 Saberhawks flying the MH-60R, as part of Forward Deployed Naval Forces in Atsugi, Japan. Upon completion of his tour at HSM-77, he received orders to the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center in Fallon, NV and currently serves as a Seahawk Weapons and Tactics Instructor and holds the position of Rotary Wing Weapons School Standardization Officer and is the rotary wing subject matter expert for Anti-Subsurface Warfare.
