Ricky Lee Phillips is a second-year graduate student in the sustainable communities program at Binghamton University and would like to pursue a career in solid waste management. She is interested in community programming, single-use plastics and zero waste practices. She also is a second-year community schools graduate assistant at the Center for Civic Engagement, where she specializes in recruiting and training volunteers, collaborating with the community and creative problem solving. As an AmeriCorps VISTA alum, Ms. Phillips is proud to have served the South Coast at Sharing the Harvest Community Farm in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
