Rob Jackson is the Director of Development for Ameresco's development portfolio of grid interconnection utility scale solar projects in the East Region. He utilizes his passion for solar energy development and his energy and entitlement consulting experience to originate solar development sites, support the real estate entitlement process and construct projects. Using his real estate developer mindset, Mr. Jackson has been involved with many firsts in the renewable energy industry under extremely tight schedules and budgets. HIs experience also extends to business development, energy and environmental policy, economics, due diligence assessment, permitting and design for renewable energy development. Mr. Jackson also has broad experience in stakeholder negotiations and agency communication and is an expert in contractor procurement including processes involving contract negotiations, bidding and construction management. He is also a seasoned manager and leads a multidisciplinary team at Ameresco to make renewable development strategy a reality for his customers.
