Benjamin S. Fernandez, MS. Ed, has worked as a school psychologist for over 20 years. Currently, he works in Northern Virginia as the Coordinator of Prevention Services providing leadership and coordination of psychological services and division wide mental health programs. He serves as a PREPaRE trainer, a crisis team leader and coordinates crisis intervention services. He also has contributed to presentations, articles, books, and webinars related to youth suicide, PREPaRE, and school safety and crisis. Benjamin also serves as the subcommittee lead for training and curriculum of the National Association of School Psychologist’s School Safety and Crisis Response Committee.
