NOAA Marine Debris Program


Demi Fox is the Northeast regional coordinator for the NOAA Marine Debris Program (MDP) and is based in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Ms. Fox received her Bachelor’s degree in biological science from Florida State University and Master’s degree in coastal environmental management from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment. She joined NOAA in January 2018 to coordinate MDP activities in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. She works with partners to assess both existing and emerging issues, implement prevention projects, plan removal efforts and foster collaboration across the region.
