With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Arie Kremen assists public and commercial clients to implement creative and effective solutions meeting budgets, schedules and regulatory requirements. His specialty is leachate treatment and management. He was responsible for the design and construction of the Brick Township Landfill Superfund redevelopment, honored in 2015 with a USEPA Excellence in Site Reuse Award. He also received an honorable mention from the U.S. Conference of Mayors. Superstorm Sandy tested the design and construction of a landfill closure Dr. Kremen supervised on the Jersey shore. The project survived, protecting historic structures located immediately upload from the site. Dr. Kremen received his education from the Israel Institute of Technology in civil and environmental engineering in water resources and computational hydrogeology. He received a doctorate for research of nitrogen transformation in the beneficial reuse of tertiary treated wastewater on crops and soils. Arie has published articles and taught university courses in hydraulics, soil mechanics and numerical analysis. He is an active member of the SWANA Leachate and Liquids Management Committee.
