As Chief Blockchain Evangelist for the lifeID Platform, Alex is responsible for educating the world about the future of blockchain-based self-sovereign identity technology, finding integration partners for the lifeID ecosystem, and representing his team at standards organizations like the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Decentralized Identity Foundation (DIF). Alex is heavily involved with the Seattle blockchain community and is a frequent panelist, presenter, mentor, and guest contributor to blockchain-based events and leadership efforts. He serves as his team’s Advisory Committee Representative at the W3C and is a member of the Verifiable Claims Working Group, which is creating use cases and data models for cryptographically verifiable credentials for use by individuals, electronic devices, and organizations.
