William Tennant retired in 2008 from the United States Army after 20 years as an engineer officer. He served as a platoon leader and company executive officer in Germany and Bosnia, company commander in the 101st Airborne Division and served in Iraq as the regimental engineer, 11th Armored Calvary Regiment. Since 2008, Mr. Tennant has managed the landfill gas systems at more than 25 different landfills for Waste Management and Advanced Disposal. He has been responsible for the operations and maintenance, permitting, compliance, construction and expansion of gas systems and the performance of landfill gas to energy (LFGTE) projects. His forte is assessing systems with odors, poor compliance or underperforming LFGTE projects and optimizing them to be fully compliant while running LFGTE projects at full capacity. Mr. Tennant Joined Atlantic Coast Consulting in October of 2018 as the gas operations manager.
