Nicole Burkhardt is a Landfill Gas Engineer at the Delaware Solid Waste Authority (DSWA). She is responsible for air quality permit compliance for the Central (CSWMC) and Southern (SSWMC) Solid Waste Management Centers, management of long term landfill gas (LFG) beneficial use contracts, and management of various LFG construction projects. She serves as the YP Representative for SWANA’s Landfill Gas and Biogas Technical Division. She also serves on the Examining Committee for the Delaware Association of Professional Engineers (DAPE). Ms. Burkhardt holds a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering degree and a Master of Civil Engineering degree from the University of Delaware.
