David Kaminski is a frequent presenter on landfill leachate pumping and groundwater sampling programs to industry organizations, universities and regulatory agencies worldwide. Since joining QED in 1984, David has been involved in the development of new products for landfill leachate management, groundwater sampling and LFG flow measurement and control and has been awarded three U.S. patents. During the past 35 years, he has designed and installed systems at sites throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and South America. He has presented papers and workshops on landfill liquids management systems and groundwater sampling practices at dozens of conferences, seminars and short courses, and monthly webinars presented by QED. In 2012, David was appointed chairman of SWANA’s Landfill Gas Extraction and Control committee, and in April 2016 was elected as vice director of SWANA’s Landfill Gas and Biogas Technical Division, then became Division director in 2018, his current volunteer position.
