Jung-Sik Yoon, Ph.D. has been Deputy Director position at Plasma Technology Research Center in National Fusion Research Institute for 4 years (or since 2014) with responsible for plasma application technology R&D project and responsibility of Atomic and Molecular data research for low temperature plasma. Prior to joining National Fusion Research Institute, YOON was Guest Scientist for Max-Planck Institute for Plasma Physics. During his 4 years at Max-Planck Institute, Yoon spent time doing responsibility Bayesian data analysis for optical diagnostic systems. YOON received a Ph.D. degree in Atomic and Molecular Physics field from Hanyang University, Ansan, Kyungi-Do, Rep. of Korea, and a Post. Doc. in Atomic collisions in plasma from the Max-Planck Institute for Complex System, Dresden, Germany. YOON also a passionate fan of Hanwha Eagles, a professional baseball team in Korea.
