Sooman Seo, Ph.D. has been senior engineer at SK Hynix since 2013, where he worked on developing perpendicular STT-MRAM. His main areas of responsibility were the numerical and experimental studies on magnetic tunnel junctions. Seo received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in materials science and engineering from Korea University, Seoul, Korea, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. He has authored or coauthored 20 scientific papers and hold 3 U.S. patents.
