Anush Gevorgyan joined COPE Health Solutions in November 8, 2011. In September 2014 Ms. Gevorgyan took on a Senior Consultant role and joined the team in western New York to support planning and launch of a new joint venture corporation in Upstate New York between two large health systems to implement the Section 1115 Medicaid redesign waiver in a 13-county region and nearly 400,000 Medicaid lives for nearly 380 providers. Building on the experience for Medicaid waivers and by working with six of the 25 NYS Performing Provider Systems, Ms. Gevorgyan developed and launched the State’s first performance-based DSRIP contracting model and process which served as a stepping stone for the State to update their standard requirements for using appropriate vehicles in engaging downstream PPS providers in DSRIP activities. Anush led in financial modeling, finance, network development and overall MSO and VBP strategy with three other New York based large health systems and developed additional iterations of funds flow methodologies with PPSs, tailoring them to organizational and network needs. All this was accomplished by successfully carrying out projects by managing political environments and multi-stakeholder affiliations.
