Allison K. Arnekrans obtained her doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio, and is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Central Michigan University. Her professional background includes service as a Licensed Professional Counselor and supervisor working with youth/families, EAP clients, and within a partial hospitalization program. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Arnekrans is highly involved at the local, state, and national levels in counseling associations and service to the profession. Her research interests include: ethical issues in counseling, group work, parenting/family issues, and supervisory tools to reduce burnout.
