Edward Liang, co-founder and CTO of MCV Microwave in San Diego, holds a Ph.D. in Ceramic Science from Penn State University and M.S./B.S. degrees in Metallurgy and Materials Science from National Cheng Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan. Before founding MCV Microwave in 1995, Edward served positions as Senior Scientist with TRW (Northrop Grumman), Technical Manager with Heraeus Cermalloy and Director of Engineering and Business Development with American Technical Ceramics. Over the course of 22 years, MCV specializes in manufacturing ultra-high Q dielectric resonators, ultra-low PIM cavity filters, custom narrowband bandpass and band reject filter as well as wide band diplexer from VHF to millimeter wave frequency. His current interest involves frequency selective surface (FSS) antenna and filter for 5G communication and medical applications.
