Isaac Janak




Isaac serves as the cyber security program manager in the office of the Virginia secretary of public safety and homeland security. He began his career in state government in the office of veteran’s affairs and homeland security where he provided research and analysis on critical infrastructure, resiliency and cyber security. Prior to his current position, he supported several critical infrastructure protection programs, including the Automated Critical Asset Management System (ACAMS), the Virginia Identity Credential and Access Management (VICAM) program, and the Protected Critical Infrastructure Information (PCII) program. As the homeland security projects administrator; he represented the public safety secretariat as a subject matter expert (SME) to the Virginia cyber security commission, and as a SME on cyber security and critical infrastructure security and resilience. Isaac earned his degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University; a master’s degree in computer and information systems security, and a bachelor’s degree in homeland security and emergency preparedness.
