2018 Virginia Fire + Rescue Conference

Shaun Whitely




Shaun started his fire and emergency services career in 1997. He is currently serving as a Lieutenant with the Richmond Fire Department. Prior to being promoted, he was a firefighter assigned to Rescue Company 1 in the city’s Southside. Shaun has developed several training programs that have been delivered to firefighters across the state, including Richmond Truck School. He believes great firefighters are not created in a book; they work hard, train hard, and listen to others.
